Bringing Public Health into Urban Revitalization - Workshop in Brief

This workshop summary brief describes environmental intervention strategies for health in three major metropolitan areas: Washington, D.C., Detroit, and New York City. Four crosscutting themes were identified in all urban areas: the importance of policy and language standardization, incentives for health-promoting design, government intervention, and community engagement.
