Evaluating Transportation Access to Healthy Food Sources: A Rapid Health Impact Assessment in Alachua County, Florida

This rapid health impact assessment highlights issues related to transportation disparities in neighborhoods that are predominantly low-income and in communities of color and how these disparities can limit access to healthy foods for these individuals. The study looks at the impact of the built environment such as the presence and/or absence of sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and transit and how this affects an individual's access to healthy foods.
