How the U.S. Transportation System Fuels Inequality

This article argues that U.S. transportation policies have disproportionately prioritized highways and private vehicle use over public transit, contributing to economic and racial inequities by limiting mobility for low-income communities and people of color while increasing the financial burden of car ownership.
