This tool is intended to help local governments and community organizations engage citizens in the planning process. The toolkit includes resources and best practices for conducting public meetings, surveys, focus groups, and other types of outreach to ensure that the planning process is transparent and inclusive. The tool also provides guidance on how to document and respond to public comments and suggestions, and how to incorporate citizen input into the final plan.
