An Overburdened Charitable Food System: Making the Case for Increased Government Support During the COVID-19 Crisis

This article makes the case for increasing support and funding from federal and state governments for the charitable food system. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the socioeconomic disruption it has caused, food insecurity and the demand on assistance programs have increased dramatically.
