Good child care and preschool is very expensive and can be hard to find. Many working parents cannot afford these resources. They often must choose between low-quality programs or no child care. Sometimes they do not work so they can stay home with their kids. Access to low-cost and high-quality preschool and child care would allow parents to work. It would also make sure their children are learning and growing well. Government can put more money into preschools and child care to help lower the cost. This would allow more children to attend and more parents to work.
